2021 Grenache

Like most legends and their lyrics, our Grenache requires a lot of special handling. Our Grenache is grown high on top of Destiny Ridge where it receives the perfect amount of adoration from the sun and the constant applause from the Columbia River breezes. The awards are optimal ripeness and complexity. The gorgeous pale garnet color present in the glass is just a teaser to the headlining aromatics of red raspberry, perfumy rose petals, and crushed herbs, which is accompanied by a nuance of peppery spice. On the palate, you’ll find a lovely medium-bodied red that tantalizes the taste buds. Opulent flavors of strawberry, cranberry, cherry, blueberry, and subtle baking spice are balanced out by clean acidity. Make your taste buds sing by pairing with seared lamb chops marinated in herby gremolata or for a twist, try pairing with savory and creamy Pasta Carbonara.
