After a few minutes in your glass, delicate mandarin orange zest aromas open into plush pineapple and pears. On the palate, this wine is pure pleasure, overflowing with decadent flavors of citrus cream and fresh cut pear along with a subtle hint of clove.
This Roussanne-based blend offers colorful, floral-accented orchard fruit scents and flavors and it has lush, expansive stone fruit character and a bracing citrus quality that allows it to work well with richer fish or poultry dishes and heavy cream sauces. The winemaking team at Alexandria Nicole Cellars were the first to produce this exotic blend using Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier in Washington State and have done so annually since 2004.
The perfumed bouquet is accentuated just right by gracious overlays of fresh cut nectarine, orange zest, honeydew melon, and mango, all of which give it the perfect balance of florals and tropical citrus, richness and acidity.
Back by popular demand, this vibrant and fragrant wine makes for the perfect summertime sipper. Its rich bouquet is packed with aromas of honeysuckle, wild white peach and stone fruit with hints of thyme and crushed herb.
