This year’s Roussanne-based blend provides a star bright pale straw color with notes of honeysuckle, stone fruit, and lemon zest on the nose. A weighty palate of honey, tangerine, apricot and Meyer lemon are pursued by an enticing flash of acidity that balances out the wine and lends to the sustained and elegant finish.
Glistening with hues of Aureolin yellow, the aromatics erupt from the glass with striking intensity. Though laden with gorgeous notes of Meyer lemon and lime zest, it leaves just enough room for the nuances of fresh cut nectarine and orange blossom to shine through. On the palate, our 2017 Albariño shows ample flavors reminiscent of the tropics.
Hand harvested and whole cluster pressed fruit from our Estate Vineyard, and the Crawford Vineyard of the Columbia Valley make up this delightful white wine. The meticulous care in the vineyard shown by both growers speaks volumes in this wine which display layers of lovely floral aromas backed by nuances of white grapefruit, Meyer lemon, and honeysuckle.
After a few minutes in your glass, delicate mandarin orange zest aromas open into plush pineapple and pears. On the palate, this wine is pure pleasure, overflowing with decadent flavors of citrus cream and fresh cut pear along with a subtle hint of clove.
