2021 Cabernet Franc

NOSE - Dark & Herbaceous
Ripe aromatics of sweet dark cherry, plum, and red raspberry are brightened by pomegranate and cranberry notes.  A herbaceous quality from zesty pepper, dried herbs, cedar shavings, and dark cocoa add complexity and grounds this wine.

PALATE - Complex & Balanced
Smooth tannins and a structured acidity create a balanced and round mouthfeel. Subtle hints of dried herbs, and warmer notes of vanilla, leather, and chocolate play well with the dark fruit and floral notes of lavender and violets.  The oak profile lends warmth and structure with a long and silky finish as the perfect finale. Mushroom risotto would be our pick for a dinner companion.
