The estate Malbec really shined in the 2019 vintage. This dark, inky wine is very fruit-forward and showy. Chocolate-covered red raspberries and plum enlighten your nose before luscious dark fruit, baking spices, and cocoa fill your palate. This wine is very decadent, plush, and dense, with a silky finish. It will pair nicely with a variety of barbequed red meats, especially brisket or ribs drenched in sauce. Lamb meatballs, swordfish, blue cheese, and raspberry brownies would also pair delightfully.
