In true classic Malbec style, this full-bodied wine has an intense, inky dark color and well-integrated tannins. The 2017 season produced intensely colored fruit that led to rich, concentrated flavors of black currant, raspberry, blueberry, and cherry on the palate. The aromatics display a nice balance between luxurious fruit and subtle hints of French oak. Upon first smell, a touch of lavender, ripe blackberry, chocolate, and mocha are rounded out with a burst of blueberry and red plum. The finish is complemented with a splash of acidity that is matched well with the firm, yet well managed tannin profile leading the way into a decadent, silky finish.

This is a well balanced, smooth wine especially for how much body it has. It’s very easy to drink and we plan to serve it in the future for dinner parties.

Well balanced and nice fruit. Should allow to breathe for half an hour before serving. I expect to cellar some for three years or more.
