2022 a2 Cabernet Sauvignon

Our a2 (a squared) Cabernet is Alexandria Nicole Cellars’ more food-friendly, “any night of the week” label. You may find it at your favorite tap house or your favorite local eatery. Fantastic from the tap to your growler and gorgeous from the bottle, a2 cabernet is fresh, bright, and easy to drink. Ripe Strawberry and red cherries jump from the glass with the first swirl. The complexity comes from the floral notes of dried rose petals contrasted by the subtle minerality that reminds you of the last time it rained (‘petrichor’ in wine speak). Sourced from our estate vineyard, Destiny Ridge in the Horse Heaven Hills, where despite the heat, the wine maintains a surprising freshness, thanks to the balanced acidity. This acidity provides structure, preventing the wine from feeling overly heavy and ensuring a lively, well-rounded mouthfeel and pleasant food-friendly finish.
