2019 Mr Big Petite Sirah

If you take a short 500-meter jaunt directly north of the winery you will find our vineyard’s Block 17, a very special little section, where our “Mr. Big” Petite Sirah is grown. Besides the quaint size of this block, there is nothing else “petite” about this wine. Mr. Big is all about power with big color, big fruit, and big texture. This wine is inky and dark purple in color. Bold aromatics of blueberry, ripe plum, and cocoa lead to a powerful palate full of dark fruit, mouth-coating velvety tannins, and a long dense but smooth finish. This wine needs to be paired with big, rich, fatty foods such as a Swiss cheeseburger, black pepper beef stir fry, or vegetarian black bean chili.
