2017 Grenache

Our Grenache is grown high on top of Destiny Ridge where a constant breeze from the Columbia River helps mitigate the intense heat of the Horse Heaven Hills, thickens the skins of the grapes, and allows for optimal ripeness and complexity. The pale ruby color present in the glass leads to aromatics of strawberry, red currant, cherry, and crushed herbs, and are complemented by a nuance of peppery spice. On the palate, you’ll find a lovely medium-bodied red that tantalizes the taste buds. Opulent flavors of raspberry, plum, cherry, blueberry, and subtle baking spice are balanced out by its clean acidity, making this wine complex, yet easy to enjoy. This fresh, fruity red is ready to drink now but can hold up in the cellar for the next 5-8 years.
