2018 Mr. Big Petite Sirah

This absolute monster of a wine lives up to its name. The nose is an intense blend of rich blackberry reduction, black raspberry, licorice, smoked meat, and leather. The palate shows firm, ripe tannins which are complemented by a
heavy dose of blackberry, plum, star anise, sarsaparilla, and smoky tobacco… damn delicious. A true Petite Sirah, it begs to be paired with barbecued meats, full-flavored and smoked cheeses, smoked game, wild mushroom risotto,
bratwurst, or your favorite full-bodied cigar. Don’t forget to decant!
