2016 Sauvignon Blanc
With an amazing 2016 vintage in the books, our Estate Grown “Steel Horse” Sauvignon Blanc is back by popular demand. Light straw in color with glistening silver hues, the rich bouquet is packed with fragrant aromas of honeysuckle, wild white peach and stone fruit with hints of thyme and crushed herb as it lingers in the glass. Vibrant and fragrant, notes of lemon meringue and candied orange peel are rich and spicy, adding interest and personality to a juicy core of ruby red grapefruit and white wildflower flavors. The finish shows plenty of intensity and pop, which balances effortlessly against the fleshy yet crisp mouthfeel, making this the perfect summertime sipper. While it’s Great on its own, try this lovely white with fresh Puget Sound oysters and/or scallops, or get a little more adventurous and pair with a grilled vegetable and cumin pasta or a grilled tomato-cilantro marinated chicken breast.
