Our Estate Destiny Ridge Vineyard was slated to become a rock quarry before we planted on this unique vineyard site. Today, we are honored for the natural beauty and terroir afforded to us by this amazing location and we are pleased to share it with you. Quarry Butte is an elegantly expressive six varietal blend which captures the unique terroir of Destiny Ridge Vineyard. Deep purple in color, this red blend exudes aromas of black currant, red cherry, and sweet tobacco leaf. Rich yet firm in texture, the palate is full and bursting with ample amounts of blackberry, raspberry, vanilla bean, and cedar wood spice. The finish is filled with supple and velvety tannins, which balance effortlessly amongst the harmony of boysenberry, plum, and toasted oak undertones. If pairing with food, don’t hesitate to try with a Manchego Buffalo burger, grilled lamb chops with an herbed chimichurri sauce or your favorite BBQ fare. Drink now and enjoy at room temperature!
